Chris Avery is a technology nerd. His practice focuses on privacy, data security and cybersecurity issues, which means he’s focused everyday on changing legal requirements because of technology. Chris regularly counsels companies on how to prepare for, respond to, and recover from cybersecurity events. Formerly the senior counsel of privacy at one of the country’s largest communications companies, he draws on nearly a decade of experience to advises clients on issues such as consumer and employee privacy, data security, PCI compliance, and incident response. He also leads the firm’s incident response team for the New England region.
